I've come to this conclusion:
Though I love you
I am letting you go
At first it was hard
It was not because I wanted to
But because I needed to
Since there was no desire
I was unsuccessful

Then one day it came to me
The craving for closure
Tired of the back and forth
Love-you/Hate-you dynamic
The silly games played
The lines sprayed upon me
Like little drops of acid
Slowly corroding my soul
Manipulating my mind

But this time
I am seriously finished
Of worrying about you
And what you will do
Walking on eggshells
Hearing your angry yells
All because I don't keep it
Hidden, a trusted secret

I've come to this conclusion
Though I still love you
I am closing the book
Finishing the story
As it finally reaches its
